Description
In this course, we’ll discuss the importance of taking a person-centered and strengths-based approach to case management in human services. We’ll present some of the most important core skills to use in your client sessions, as well as the ethical issues of professional boundaries and client confidentiality. We’ll provide an exercise on personal values and justifications that you can use with clients to support their goals. Finally, we’ll discuss topics that support the case manager, including self-care, lifelong learning, and time management.
