Welcome to the Human Services Financial Health Professional Certification Program. This online course is one of several online components in this program. The topic of this course is Stress and Scarcity. In this course, we’ll discuss how stress can impact our health, and our ability to plan, make choices, and solve problems. We’ll discuss the concept of scarcity, and how the feeling of not having enough can impact our clients and ourselves. We’ll review how these concepts can be applied to support our clients.
After taking this course, you’ll be able to:
- Describe the relationship among stress, health, and money
- Explain the impact of stress and scarcity on cognitive ability
- Examine the ways perception and control impact levels of stress in your life
- Employ strategies to reduce tunneling for yourself and your clients
